Today’s readings
- Old Testament: ISAIAH 39:1-41:16
- New Testament: EPHESIANS 1:1-23
- Psalm: PSALM 66:1-20
- Proverb: PROVERBS 23:25-28
Old Testament
Hezekiah proudly displays his treasures, but Isaiah warns of Babylon. Then the message turns to comfort: God strengthens His weary people and tells them not to fear.
New Testament
Ephesians opens with an avalanche of grace: chosen in Christ, adopted, redeemed, forgiven, sealed with the Spirit, and joined to the risen Lord who reigns over all.
Psalm
Come and hear what God has done. He tests His people but does not abandon them.
Proverb
Give your heart to wisdom and guard yourself from sexual unfaithfulness.
Discover
Isaiah says, 'Do not fear; I will help you.' Ephesians shows the deepest reason for confidence: believers belong to the risen Jesus, who is above every power and is Head of the church.
Reflect
Which truth about who I am 'in Christ' do I most need to believe?
Fellowship
How does remembering God's past faithfulness strengthen present trust?
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for every spiritual blessing in You. Replace my fear with confidence in Your rule. Amen.
Live
Begin the day from your identity in Christ, not from your circumstances.
